On April 17th, Plug and Play Armenia held the official kickoff for its third batch of startups at the Matenadaran in Yerevan. Bleenk was among the companies selected to participate.
This post is about what that means, why the program matters, and where Bleenk is headed next.
About the program
Plug and Play is one of the most active startup accelerators in the world, operating in more than 50 countries. Its Armenia chapter was established through a partnership with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, with a clear goal: give Armenian startups real access to the global networks, investors, and corporate partners that accelerators in larger tech hubs take for granted.
The Batch 3 kickoff brought together the selected startups alongside investors, ecosystem partners, and representatives from Plug and Play's international network. The Matenadaran was a fitting venue. One of the world's most significant repositories of ancient manuscripts, it sits at the top of Mashtots Avenue overlooking Yerevan. There is something appropriate about holding a conversation about what comes next in a place built to preserve what came before.
What Bleenk is building
Bleenk is an AI-native development platform built around a straightforward diagnosis of how software gets built today.
The modern development stack is fragmented. Developers move between a code editor, a testing suite, a deployment pipeline, and a monitoring tool, none of which were designed to share context with each other. Each tool does its job in isolation, and the work of keeping everything in sync falls on the developer. That overhead is so normalized it barely gets named as a problem anymore.
Bleenk takes a different approach. Rather than adding another tool to the stack, it replaces the stack with a single system where AI agents handle the full workflow: writing code, running tests, catching failures, and managing deployment. The AI operates with context across the entire process, not just the file currently open in an editor.
The result is a meaningful compression in the time between an idea and a production-ready application. That is the core product, and it is what Bleenk is continuing to build and refine through this program.
Why this program, at this stage
Accelerators serve a specific function at a specific moment. Early on, the work is almost entirely internal: define the product, talk to users, figure out what is actually true about the problem you're solving. External programs and networks add noise more than value at that stage.
At the point Bleenk is at now, the calculus changes. The product direction is clear. The question shifts from "what are we building" to "how do we put it in front of the right people, in the right markets, at the right pace." That is where Plug and Play's network is genuinely useful, not as a credential but as infrastructure. Access to investors who understand the developer tools space, corporate partners who can provide real feedback from production environments, and mentors who have navigated the specific challenges of scaling a technical product internationally.
Acknowledging who made this possible
The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia deserves direct acknowledgment here, not as a formality but because it is simply accurate.
This program exists because of decisions made at the ministry level to invest in bringing world-class accelerator infrastructure to Armenia and to sustain that investment over time. Without that commitment, the opportunity Bleenk is now part of would not exist in the same form. Armenian startups competing for global markets benefit from that foundation every time a program like this runs, and it is worth naming clearly.
What comes next
Bleenk is now active in the Plug and Play Armenia program. Over the coming months, the focus is on deepening partnerships, gathering structured feedback on the product from international partners, and working toward the next stage of growth.
Updates on progress will be shared here as the program moves forward.
